Cold Heading Process

Thread Rolling and Washer Assembly
Part blanks are rolled between dies to form the threads. Washers can be assembled onto the part blank, prior to rolling, providing a part with a captive washer. Thread rolling provides parts that have higher strength, higher productivity, and no scrap, when compared with machining.

In – House Heat Treatment
Parts can be either through hardened or carburized (case hardened) to achieve the required strength and hardness.
